Originally created by us for Stirling’s annual International Crime Writing Festival of the same name, this cocktail has gone on to become our go-to crowd pleaser at events across the country. A classic ‘gin sour’ at heart, enjoy our bloody twist.

  • 25 ml Stirling Gin
  • 25 ml Blood Orange Syrup
  • 25ml ml Cranberry Juice
  • 25 ml Lime Juice
  • Soda Water
  • Cranberries
  • Orange Peel
  1. Pour gin, blood orange syrup, cranberry juice and lime juice into a highball glass filled with ice and then top with soda water. Stir gently with a bar spoon and garnish with a handful of cranberries and a twirl of orange peel.
  2. *For the Blood Orange Syrup* – Add 700g of sugar to a saucepan and dissolve in 700ml blood orange juice. Do not allow to boil.
