The Legends of Scotland Whisky Trilogy: A Stirling Distillery Exclusive
This limited-edition collection from our Sons of Scotland independent bottling range features three exceptional single malt Scotch whiskies from across Scotland, inspired by the nation’s greatest heroes. The Bruce, The Stuart, and The Wallace honour the iconic figures who shaped the nation’s identity in collectable 20ml bottles.
From our home at the foot of Stirling Castle, a place where battles were fought, kings were crowned, and legends were born, the distillery has created this collector’s set to celebrate Stirling’s rich history, a city where courage, unity and freedom have defined generations. From this historic stronghold rose three figures who shaped Scotland’s destiny and, now, three whiskies that capture their enduring spirit:
The Wallace: The Cry of Freedom
A 13-year-old Lowland single malt, matured in ex-bourbon oak, The Wallace celebrates the courage and clarity of Scotland’s enduring fight for freedom. Vibrant and spirited, this whisky captures the essence of William Wallace, a hero whose legacy still echoes through the heart of Stirling.
The Bruce: The Stronghold
An 11-year-old Speyside single malt, matured in an Oloroso sherry cask, The Bruce embodies the strength and resolve of Scotland’s warrior king, Robert the Bruce. Rich, robust and full of character, this whisky reflects power, depth and triumph, a dram worthy of the king who united a nation.
The Stuart: The Spirit of Unity
An 8-year-old Speyside single malt, aged in a Pedro Ximénez cask, The Stuart honours James VI, whose reign united the crowns of Scotland and England in 1603. Elegant and refined, it balances fruit-forward sweetness with subtle spice, a whisky of grace, lineage and harmony. Legend has it the distillery’s site below Stirling Castle once stabled the horses of James VI himself.
Together, the three drams form a tribute to Scotland’s indomitable spirit and the timeless character that flows through its people and its whisky.
