The BBC's biggest weekend of live music lands at City Park this September, and our city is rolling out the welcome. Make a weekend of it, and we'll have a dram waiting.
Our city, centre stage
For three days this September, the eyes and ears of the nation turn to Stirling. Radio 2 in the Park brings tens of thousands of music fans to City Park, a short walk from our distillery beneath the castle.
Simple Minds and Chaka Khan headline, with a line-up stacked full of names you'll be singing all weekend. We couldn't be prouder to see our city on the national stage.

Make a weekend of it
Heading to the park? You're a stone's throw from Scotland's smallest whisky distillery. Pop in for a tour and tasting before the music, or pick up a bottle of award-winning Stirling Gin to keep the weekend going.
It's made by hand at The Old Smiddy, right here in the city that's hosting your favourite acts.
Three ways to make the most of it.

Book a distillery visitYes, in the sense most people mean it. The official name is Radio 2 in the Park. Locally you will hear the same weekend called Party in the Park or Stirling in the Park. It is all the one event, at City Park in Stirling, 11 to 13 September 2026.
Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026, at City Park in Stirling. It is not held at Stirling Castle, which catches a lot of people out. City Park sits below the old town, a short walk from the castle.
Simple Minds and Chaka Khan headline. Also on the bill are Texas, James Blunt, Deacon Blue, The Script, Emeli Sande, Jack Savoretti, Level 42, Lulu, Blue, Cast, ABC and Appleton. The line-up is subject to change, and day by day set times are published on the BBC's official festival page.
Tickets are sold by the BBC, not by us. Prices, ballot details and any remaining availability are all on the BBC's official Radio 2 in the Park page. We are a local distillery a short walk away, not a ticket seller.
A fair amount, and most of it is walkable. Stirling Castle and the old town sit just above City Park. We are two minutes down from the castle at the Old Smiddy, where a walk-in tasting is 15 pounds a head, takes about twenty minutes and needs no booking, which fits neatly around a festival day.
Yes, all three days. We open Monday to Saturday 11am to 5pm and Sunday 12pm to 5pm. You will find us at The Old Smiddy, 9 Lower Castlehill, Stirling, FK8 1EN.
