Another single cask is joining our Sons of Scotland range, hand-picked from Speyside and bottled by our team here beneath Stirling Castle. It is natural strength at 50%, it is numbered, and it exists in tiny numbers. Only 200 bottles were filled, and when the cask is empty this whisky is finished for good.

Inchgower 13: rich, sherried and festive
A 13 year old Speyside single malt matured in a single Oloroso sherry hogshead, bottled at 50%. This is a deep, warming, wintery style of whisky, and it is rare: only 200 bottles exist, each individually numbered 1 of 200.
It opens on Christmas pudding and dried fruits. The palate is all treacle tart and burnt Scottish tablet, before a finish that lingers and coats the mouth, reminding you of Christmas. If you like your whisky rich, sweet and full of sherry, this is the one.

What a single cask really means
An independent bottler does not distil the whisky. We select an outstanding individual cask from another Scottish distillery, then bottle it under our own name. Because this release comes from one cask and one cask only, there is no blending, no topping up and no second run. What you taste is exactly what that cask gave, at natural strength, and when it is gone there is no more. That is why every bottle is numbered.

Is Inchgower 13 distilled at Stirling Distillery?
No. It is distilled in Speyside and was hand-selected and bottled by our team in Stirling as part of our Sons of Scotland independent bottling range. Our own single malt is maturing separately, with a first release projected for 2027.

Inchgower 13 is limited to 200 numbered bottles. It is a single-cask release, so once the cask is emptied this whisky is finished.
