Stirling's Day Disco is back at The Old Smiddy. The daytime disco where you get six hours of big tunes, a proper dancefloor and the full distillery bar, all wrapped up by nine so you are home in time for tea. A brilliant Saturday afternoon of daytime dancing in the heart of Stirling.
What to expect
Big tunes
A DJ on the decks and a floor that fills from the off. Daytime energy, no late night, just a proper dance while it is still light out.
The distillery bar
Our full bar is open all afternoon: Stirling Gin and tonics, whisky, cocktails and soft drinks, poured by the people who make the spirit.
Under the castle
All of it at The Old Smiddy on Lower Castlehill, our home in Stirling old town, a short walk below the castle.
Went to the Day Dancing and it was fabulous. 80s sounds got everyone up dancing. Great value for money. Hoping it'll happen again soon.

What is the Distillery Day Disco?
It is a daytime disco in Stirling: an afternoon of dancing to big tunes at Stirling Distillery, The Old Smiddy, with the full bar open. Over 18s, from 3pm to 9pm. Some folk call it day dancing or a day time disco, it is the same brilliant Stirling afternoon.
When and where is it?
Saturday 27 March 2027, 3pm to 9pm, at The Old Smiddy, Lower Castlehill, Stirling FK8 1EN, in the old town below Stirling Castle.
How much are tickets?
£10.50 per person, booked ahead. Space is limited, so grab them before they go.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, this is an over 18s event. Please bring ID.
Is there a bar?
Yes. The full distillery bar is open all afternoon: gin, whisky, cocktails and soft drinks.
Can I hire the venue for my own party?
Yes. The Old Smiddy holds up to 60 guests. See our venue hire page or get in touch.
