Stirling Distillery Launch Neve Gin with Help from Scottish Curling

Stirling, Scotland – 27th January 2026. Stirling Distillery, will launch its new limited-edition Neve Gin (pronounced neh-vey), meaning snow in Italian, on Wednesday 4th February. Inspired by winter sport, the launch will see members of the Scottish Curling team at the distillery throughout the day, offering informal coaching and hosting mini competitions.

Finished with shimmering silver flakes that drift through the bottle like falling snow, Neve Gin is a crisp, winter-inspired spirit. The launch celebrates winter sport, precision and craft, reflecting the shared skill and finesse behind both curling and distilling.

Guests can enjoy free 30-minute sessions with guidance from the Scottish Curling team (no experience required) and take part in friendly competitions on a portable curling lane. Visitors will also receive a complimentary Neve Gin & Tonic on arrival at the distillery, offering the first taste of this unique winter release. Only 90 bottles of Neve Gin will be produced, making this a rare and collectable release. Distilled with 12 botanicals, Neve Gin delivers a refined juniper backbone, bright citrus lift, and subtle warming spice, finishing cool and elegant - a gin crafted to capture the crisp clarity of winter.

Stirling Distillery is housed in a beautifully renovated Victorian building known locally as the ‘Old Smiddy,’ which has served as a church, temperance hall, and blacksmith’s forge since 1888. Owned and run by husband-and-wife team June and Cameron McCann, the distillery blends Stirling’s rich heritage with modern craft distillation, offering a visitor experience that is authentic and deeply rooted in local history.

The distillery team would like to wish the Scottish athletes representing team GB at the Winter Olympics and Paralympics every success as they begin the 2026 Winter Olympic season in Italy on 4th February.
