Stirling Distillery Launch Redesign of Award-Winning Gin Range
Stirling, Scotland – 31st October, 2023 – Stirling Distillery has today launched a bespoke new bottle design for their range of award-winning gins, celebrating both the city and the botanicals that form the base of each spirit.
Proudly representing Stirling and using Stirlingshire nettles - their signature botanical – on the inner label of their Stirling Classic Gin bottles, they have retained the distinct local landmark illustrations designed by Ritchie Collins in 2019. The new look is the third for the gin since launching in 2015.
The range of bottles celebrate the different botanicals in each gin. Stirling Pink Gin and their Tropical Triumph liqueur pay homage to their original designs with roses and tropical fruits respectively, with a move to modernise and align the branding of the distillery’s product range.
Stirling Winter Gin - distilled with apples from the family’s back garden and a variety of warming botanicals - features a warm, red colour throughout the bottle to add to the cosy feeling of the serve.
As a small family-run distillery, each bottle still has a personal touch with the hand-dipped wax seal completing the aesthetic.
Speaking of the new bottle designs, distillery owner June McCann shared her excitement with the finished products:
“Throughout the entire design process we’ve been focused on refreshing our bottles in a way that enhances the distillery brand visually, whilst ensuring we continue to celebrate the city of Stirling. The result is four beautiful designs that showcase our unique flavours, whilst retaining the landmarks that make Stirling famous. From the bridge to the monument, there are so many recognisable aspects of the city we are proud to see displayed in gin cabinets and on shelves around the world.”
As part of the launch, the distillery offered local gin lovers an exclusive first look at the bottles at both the Stirling SpiritFEST launch party and Stirling Gin Festival. The annual festival welcomed over 400 visitors and 25 exhibitors to Stirling and provided the first opportunities to purchase the bottles from the distillery.
