Stirling Distillery launches inaugural Santa Dash this December
Get ready to lace up your trainers and don your Santa hats - Stirling Distillery is set to host its first-ever Santa Dash on Saturday 6th December 2025 at 3pm.
The one-mile “not flat” loop will start and finish at Stirling Distillery on Lower Castlehill, taking participants past the city’s historic castle and back up a gentle incline to the distillery, where runners will be greeted with a complimentary glass of festive winter punch (or a soft drink for the under 18s).
Open to all aged five and over, the event promises festive fun for the whole family. Runners are encouraged to dress as Santa - or in their most Christmassy attire - to help turn Stirling into a sea of red and white.
Entry costs just £5, and places are limited to 200 participants. All profits will go to Strathcarron Hospice, Stirling.
Children aged 5–11 must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be prizes for the first male and first female finishers, each receiving a bottle of Stirling Gin.
“We wanted to bring something festive, active, and fun to the city this Christmas,” said Elle McCann, Distillery Manager at Stirling Distillery. “The Santa Dash is about community spirit, laughter, and a touch of Stirling magic - all topped off with a glass of winter punch at the finish line!”
Entries close at 5pm on 29th November 2025, or when the field is full. Santa hats, drinks and festive treats will be available to purchase at the distillery. Registration will open at 2:15pm.
