Not every whisky needs to be a puzzle. Castle Rock is our light, approachable blended malt, named for the great volcanic crag that Stirling Castle sits on, and built to be enjoyed rather than decoded.

A light blended malt with real pedigree

Castle Rock is a 5-year-old blended malt Scotch whisky, hand-picked by distillery owner Cameron McCann. It's a marriage of Speyside single malts, brought together for a lighter, more refreshing style than a big, complex single malt. If you're newer to whisky, or you simply want an easy-going dram, this is a lovely place to start.

Wearing its Stirling colours

The whisky celebrates Scotland's whisky heritage, and it wears its home with pride: the bottle features the exclusive Silver Spirit tartan from Stirling kiltmakers House of Henderson. It's a proper Stirling collaboration, from the castle that inspired the name to the tartan on the label. At 50% ABV, there's plenty of flavour to enjoy, and a drop of water opens it up nicely.

Part of the Sons of Scotland range

Castle Rock sits within our Sons of Scotland whisky range, our independent bottling series of single malts and blends selected from across Scotland. If you enjoy Castle Rock, explore the single-cask bottlings like Balblair and Speyside, or discover the whole story behind our whisky.
